Aural and Theory

If you have ever wondered how people can improvise and play a song they've heard for the first time, and harmonise with others when singing, you're at the right place. The answer is great aural skills and theory knowledge, it is every seasoned musician’s secret weapon!

Ukelele

Ukulele has been very popular over the years. It is small, it is cute, it looks easier to start with, there are a lot of reasons to pick up ukulele! Many of these reasons are true, it is a less intimidating instrument.

Flute

We have flute lessons available! Attracted by the crisp and feather-like sounds of the instrument? With its silver silky touch that looks super elegant?

Mini Nuttie

One is never too young to start to play and enjoy music! The Mini Nuttie program is a course specially designed for the little ones. Children as young as 2 years old learn how to listen, and react to music!

Our kids, 8 and 12 years old, started their music learning journey (in piano) with MusicNuts! few years ago. When we first stepped into the studio, we were struck by how friendly, warm and inviting the atmosphere was and we are glad we made the right choice. The teachers and staffs are passionate about their craft and our kids adore both their piano teachers, Teacher Joyce and Teacher Loreta. MusicNuts! is the right partner to help inspire and teach music to our kids and we would definitely recommend them.

My daughter Sophie started guitar lessons with MusicNuts! in November 2017. I had a great first impression of MusicNuts!, starting with Teacher Loreta and Teacher Chia Hui who were both very warm, friendly and professional. Over the last few years, my daughter has not only improved in her guitar skills but the school has imbibed in her a love for music, so much so that she has also decided to go for piano lessons in 2020, with Teacher Sherwin. MusicNuts! is also one of the biggest sellers of music books so you not only get good quality instructors but also a good selection of instruction books.

July 2020, I stepped into MusicNuts! to request 30 minute lesson twice a month. They agreed! Now I have 60 minute lesson with Teacher Sherwin, a 30+ year-old teacher who is very patient and encouraging to a 77 year-old student. In these few years I have learnt many nice pieces and practising although challenging is so fulfilling. A big thank you to MusicNuts!

It has been a really enjoyable and enriching time learning here. I’ve been taught by 2 piano teachers here for nearly a decade, Teacher Loreta and Teacher Joyce, and the different in their teaching style benefits me in my learning and sharpen my skills in piano playing.

My 6 year-old has been learning ukulele with MusicNuts! for almost a year and we love it. The people here are passionate about music and it is a nice environment for kids to learn music. Teacher Chia Hui is his ukulele teacher, she is dedicated, patient and very knowledgeable. We look forward to going to music class every Saturday. We highly recommend the MusicNuts!
