Understanding Music Theory Grade 3

This book is designed to be fun, educational and goal-oriented. There are plenty of cheerful illustrations that appeal to young child. The text is interspersed with information such as instruments and composers. It consists of a series of carefully gradated explanations and exercises to address problems usually encountered by pupils, and becomes progressively more challenging to establish a secure foundation in music theory. At the end, there are additional exercises to test a child’s ability in applying what has already been learnt. These exercises closely follow the format commonly encountered in theory examinations.
