Theory & Ear Training Party Book A

Theory & Ear Training Party books correlate with their respective level Piano Party books. They provide reinforcement of the concepts presented in Piano Party, especially through listening and writing plus improvising and composing activities. Students learn through sequential games and exercises designed to hold their interest. Book A introduces the music alphabet, high & low (up & down — right & left) concepts, finger numbers, white key names, and counting (quarter, two eighths, half, dotted half, and whole notes). Playing black key clusters establishes good hand positions. The book concludes with Middle C pieces in pre-staff notation.
